Attention Players: Starting August 1st venue tournaments will be geared toward the New Zone Championship structure. City Championships will be replaced with THREE Zone Championships each month. Three Zones have been created that are geographically oriented to provide our members with closer access to a monthly championship. Zone listings are provided in the Table below.

Qualifications:
    * Place 1st or 2nd in prior month in venue games within the Zone

Advantage to players:
    * Monthly tournaments are closer to where players usually play
    * Increase chances to win cash and prizes
    * Raises the number of tournaments to qualify for State
    * Adds an additional 25 tournaments per year

Game Structure:
    * Seating for 64-72 players (depending on venue, 8-9 tables)
            * Knock out seating after that
    * Each player will start out with 5000 in chips
            * Each 1st place win in prior month will get an extra 500 in chips
            * Maximum of three extra 500 chips
    * Blind levels will be 18 minutes long

Prizes per Zone:
    * 1st Place: $88, Serialized Winners Coin, Entry into Yearly Zone Champions Tournament, Entry into State Championship
    * 2nd Place: $28
    * 3rd Place: Snowman Hat

Additional Info:
    * Since the Zone Championships will be held on different dates, players will be allowed to compete in any or All Zones during any month to become eligible to all three Zone Championships. If a player completes a "Zone Sweep" (Wins all three Zones) then a yet to be determined "Zone Sweep Prize" will be presented.
